We restock the pantry refrigerator. We do not inventory the mini-fridge under a product manager’s desk in Meridian. Boise offices split milk this way when hybrid teams want “their” carton closer to the neighborhood. The main station looks clean. The latte still tastes like a carton that sat through a long weekend in a warm cube.

Between-visit tasks on our route are wipe, empty grounds, and report alerts. They are not a scavenger hunt through personal cold storage. If milk lives in three places, three people have to date it. That never happens.

One cold home for program milk

Program milk belongs in the pantry fridge we can see on service day. Personal drinks can stay in desk units. Mixing them is how oat milk from last Tuesday ends up in a guest cup on Thursday. Write that rule on the station, not in an all-hands that nobody reads.

Downtown Boise floors with glass neighborhoods love the convenience. Eagle campuses with long walks to the pantry love it more. The walk is the point. If people will not walk, add a second official fridge on that wing with a dated log. Do not improvise with six dorm units.

Date, or it is not in the program

The coffee owner should toss unlabeled cartons on a set weekday. We will not argue with a facilities photo of a bloated carton. Fresh milk is part of how we run the station. A free two-week trial should include a look at every cold box on the floor, not only the one next to the machine.

Grounds and drip trays still need a named owner

Mini-fridge chaos often pairs with “whoever notices” cleaning. Name the person who empties grounds and wipes the drip tray on days we are not there. One name in Boise. A backup in Meridian if the account spans buildings. Smoke-week volume from our other note will make this worse if the tray is already full.

What to send us

A floor plan with every fridge marked, who dates milk, and whether guests pour from the main station only. If a wing is a five-minute walk, say so. We would rather quote a second official fridge than chase mystery cartons.
