A Sixth Avenue floor can have a perfect water and drain install and still miss restock because the cases never left the lobby. Security will not let a cart on a passenger elevator at 8:10 next to client arrivals. Water-power-drain is a different NYC problem. This is vertical logistics after the machine is already live.
Downtown buildings with a shared freight car make it worse. Book the window. Name the floor contact who meets the cart. Do not hope.
Put freight on the same calendar as milk
Dairy cannot sit in a lobby. If the car slips, we need a holding fridge at receiving or a delayed milk SKU. Cups can wait in a cage. Milk cannot.

Cross-tenant floors share the car
If two companies share a pantry, both badge lists have to clear the same cart. That is a Buffalo-style fight in a taller building. Name one owner for the elevator reservation.

Do not restock through a fire stair
We will not carry cases up stairs as a workaround. If freight is down, we reschedule. Cup counts from a missed day should not lock next week’s math.

Freight hours, whether a reservation is required, dock versus curb, and the floor contact. We will book the car before we book the milk.
