Do not use one service access plan for an Uptown Charlotte tower and a SouthPark campus. The badge count can match. The dock, parking, and pantry path usually do not.
Uptown runs through a security desk, freight elevator, and tight dock window. SouthPark runs through visitor parking, a ground-level pantry path, and a different morning rush. Treat them as the same site and restock gets stuck in the wrong place. Our Charlotte team needs both access lists clear before the free two-week trial ends.

Treat Uptown and SouthPark as separate sites
Write the busy day for the Uptown floor and the SouthPark floor separately. Note visitor volume, morning arrival, afternoon traffic, shift overlap, and the meeting calendar. Banking tour weeks, intern cohorts, and hybrid South End traffic can move those patterns without changing headcount.
Run both trial weeks on ordinary workdays when you can. Skip holiday weeks and planned closures. The site contact does not fix the machine. They do need to report low milk, locked doors, and schedule changes before our truck shows up.
Uptown banking floors already show a daily tour rhythm that looks different from a campus lunch pattern. See Uptown banking floors and the daily coffee tour and Ballantyne campus versus Uptown tower peak restock when you compare building types.
Match restock windows to each building type
Split each day: early morning, midmorning, lunch, afternoon refill, event spikes, and light remote days. An Uptown floor can spike before 9:00 a.m. and again around visitor meetings. A SouthPark campus may spread demand across arrival, lunch return, and afternoon refill.
Total cups set billing and restock volume. Time-of-day notes tell us if the station needs a morning restock, an afternoon cold brew push, or a service window that matches who is drinking. For Charlotte, those notes also tell us if our truck needs the tower dock early or the campus entrance later.
Write two access lists before install
Uptown towers usually need a security desk, loading dock or garage rules, a freight elevator, pantry access, a service window, and a backup contact. SouthPark campuses usually need visitor or vendor parking, a clearer ground path, different badge assumptions, and a different person holding the pantry key. Write both lists before install day. Keep them current during the trial.
If freight is late Uptown, milk and supplies sit downstairs while the floor runs down. If a SouthPark contact is out and the pantry is locked, the same problem shows up without a dock delay. Lobby traffic also matters Uptown when people pull drinks downstairs instead of using the floor pantry. We already cover Uptown lobby queue gravity and floor pantry load.

Stock each pantry for its own drink mix
Espresso, milk drinks, cold brew, ice, and water do not move together. Heat can push afternoon cold drinks on both site types. Early banking floors often stay milk-heavy. Tell us what people order during the trial so we stock the right machines and supplies at each site.
Do not assume the SouthPark mix will match the Uptown mix because both belong to the same company. Floor-by-floor demand differences are already a Charlotte theme in coffee demand by floor.
Keep a contact at each site
Assign one contact per site for cup count, milk and bean level, machine alerts, service notes, access changes, and upcoming events. Keep one main facilities or workplace lead above them so Uptown and SouthPark do not drift into conflicting restock notes. The site contact does not become a technician. They do report changes before the pantry runs out or our team hits a locked floor.
Our break room readiness quiz is a quick check on whether ownership is clear before the trial starts.
Do not approve one plan until both sites work
At the end of two weeks, look at total cups, drink mix, peak hours, visitors, waste, cleanliness, access problems, and whether each site owner kept notes. The two-week trial FAQ covers the commercial basics. The local check is simple: did the trial prove Uptown access and SouthPark access separately on ordinary busy days?
If one site worked and the other stalled at the dock, garage, or locked pantry, fix access before you approve a single company-wide restock plan. A program that looks fine on the easier campus often needs an emergency restock the first time the tower freight window slips.
