A Durham or RTP host floor can look like a normal badge count and still run out of espresso by midmorning. The extras are visitors. They are not in HR. They drink like employees. Lab-versus-collaboration placement is a different Raleigh story we already wrote. This one is the tour day that lands on one machine.
Cary suburban campuses on the same invoice often stay quiet that day. If we restock both from one Triangle average, RTP starves and Cary sours milk.
Put tour days on the restock calendar
If the EA knows a customer visit is in, add a morning buffer the day before. Do not wait for the empty-hopper photo from a guest who will never fill out a ticket.
A free two-week trial should include a visitor day if those are normal. Use the two-week trial FAQ. The break room readiness quiz is a useful score if facilities already knows which floor is the show kitchen.
Do not let the lobby raid the lab-adjacent hopper
If reception pours for anyone on campus, that is a lobby program. It should not empty the collaboration station that staff actually use. Two hoppers, or a written guest cap at reception.
Keep the station simple on tour mornings
A five-drink menu in front of a visitor line creates a mess and a wait. House espresso and one milk option until the tour moves on. Choice can return after 11.

What we need on the call
Whether RTP and Cary share an account, typical visitor days, and whether reception has its own machine. We will set restock around the host floor.
